I am sure any mom that reads this will know exactly how I am feeling. I was so frustrated the other night trying to clean up. I feel like I can't keep up with my boys and keeping the house clean. Everytime I clean something I turn around and then it is a mess again. I am going from mess to mess and I feel like no one can clean up after themselves. I am always telling them to and trying to teach them to clean up messes when they are done. Apparently no one is catching on to what I am telling them!! Anyways I was just very frustrated as I was walking through the house and picking up and seeing what a mess it was! Sean was then telling the boys (Landon is the main culprit) that they needed to clean up after themselves and to put their things away. So Landon wrote me this note all by himself and brought it to me.....
I am still having a hard time getting him to clean up after himself. I just keep reminding him of his note. I guess I need to get use to it right. I am probably going to be cleaning up after boys for a lot of years. I am feeling very out numbered and exhausted!

i feel your pain!!! especially when it snows-you mop and they come in from playing and it looks like you haven't even mopped your floor. i have now come to the point of telling them to pick up 10/20 things and just calling it good. for me i have discovered when i tell them how many things to pick up they seem to respond better than when i tell them to clean their room.
Brook, I soooo feel your pain, It seriously is a never ending battle!!! All I can say is hang in there!
I am sure you know..but I am now the lucky one to clean up after 4 boys now, yipee! Haha, seriously. I think for how much I clean, it makes me a horrible mother because I ignore my kids, it's bad. Remember having a messy house in't the end of the world...
Haha. I love the note. I would hang it where he can see it often ;) I am quite a stickler and I make Anna clean up the room before she can get ANYTHING out in any other room. She is pretty good about doing it on her own now, but sometimes I have to remind her. But she will usually clean the room up right away or just continue to play with the stuff already has out so she doesn't have to clean it - which is fine with me. However, when I am gone and Ross is home - that is NOT the case. It's like she knows she can get away with anything. I am AMAZED at how messy my house can get in 2 hours while I am at YW. lol.
So Sweet!! I am glad that someone else feels that way, every time I go to bed I feel like have ran a marathon and have nothing to show for it. So frustrating!
