The Many Faces of Landon

I noticed the other day while looking through pictures that Landon makes some really funny faces when he is getting his picture taken. Maybe this explains why I haven't taken him to get his picture professionally for a long time. I would probably spend a fortune and he would be making a funny face! They are funny and cute. I guess Jalen is my photogenic one.

Camping

We got to go to Island Park in Idaho to go camping this past weekend with Seans family. We had a good time. The boys got to go fishing and for a ride on the tube behind the boat. They got lots of 4 wheeler rides. They got to play in the water and of course the dirt! I asked the boys what their favorite part about camping when we were on our way home. Jalens was going fishing and Landons was eating s'mores! We saw a mom and baby deer but I wasn't quick enough to get a picture. The boys saw some snakes! Landon liked the mole that was sharing a campsite with us, but he didn't like the leech that Sean had to pull of his leg!

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!

I started of the 4th by running the Murray fun days 5k with my sister. It was the day after I got back from vacation and so I was tired. I am just glad I finished it and got to do it with my sister. Then we went to seven peaks for the day. My mom, sister, brother, and other sister and her husband and baby went. We had a really good time. The boys had a blast going down the water slides and we had lots of fun too. Then of course when we came home and ended the day with a barbecue and fireworks! We were all very tired when the day was over.

Back to Reality

Well I am back from vacation and my mom has left town. It was a month of fun and keeping busy. I am sad to see my mom leave and I am never sure when I will be going back to Ohio. Probably next summer, but that seems so far away. Jalen was asking how old his new baby cousin would be when we see her next and to think that probably a year made me sad. She will be so grown up by then. We had lots of fun though and I already miss everyone so much. Here are some highlights from the trip.
